What do you get for someone who has everything? Cheese, of course!
We have just had one customer who has taken 15 x £15 cheese baskets and we are increasingly asked by people how much our cheese hampers or baskets are.
We can make them up from about £10 – £40 by increasing or varying the number of cheeses and chutneys or adding rather nice olive wood butter knives and cheese biscuits. We have some lovely Wensleydale with Cranberries, our usual, award winning Old Tyme Wensleydale, creamy Yorkshire Cheddar, goat cheese and sheep cheese, though the sheep cheese is a little more.
Here are two that Lydia recently made up, to give you an idea of the price and contents. If you would like to mix and match, feel free and give us a shout and we will do our best to put something fabulous together for you.
The £25 hamper I sold today

First class postage + VAT is on top of that and is in the region of £6 – £8, but we always go to the Post Office first to check and let customers know. If you would like your cheese basket sent to a friend, just let us know their address and we can send it direct for you.
A £15 hamper would give you:
1 x jar of our own hand made Red Onion Marmalade chutney

check in advance.
Some people prefer to forgo the wicker basket in lieu of another piece of cheese, in which case, we carefully place the cheese and the chutney in a box.
If you like our chutneys, then a chutney basket costs between £15 – £20, plus postage. An example of one can be seen in the picture to the right.
We can add a good quality olive wood knife for an additional £2.99, additional chutneys are £2.75: chose from Stu’s best selling Red Onion Marmalade, Lydia’s Caramelised Carrot called our Christmas Chutney as it tastes like Christmas Pudding, (my) Macho man Chilli Jam, Smokey Stu’s Tomato and Chilli Chutney, Winter Marrow Relish, Lydia’s Beetroot Chutney which goes very nicely with goat cheese or ask us to see what we have in stock as we have about 27 in our current range.
We recently sent out a small box containing two of our Macho man Chilli jam chutneys and a nice piece of Yorkshire Goat Gouda to a lady in Kent, again, to give you an idea of costs, for £15, including postage.
If there is a specific cheese you would like, please ask us and we will try and fit it in for you and tailor make a cheese basket.
